Congratulations Brady! Brady competed in Saskatchewans Junior qualifier and is now on the provincial team that is going to LaChute Qubec for nationals. Now if we can just keep him in the gym training till then and away from the girls he will have a shot at a medal.

Stellar performance! Jeff won gold in his weight class and had the best total in the middle class ($1000 dollar prize). Rhaea broke the world junior bench press record and Ryan placed second in the super heavy class. Here is a link to the offical results of the Arnold . Well done guys/gal, you have done our gym proud.
Two athletes and a coach from our gym made the trek to Toronto for the 2009 Canadian Weightlifting Championships during the weekend of Jan 17th. We spend the before checking out Toronto and the downtown area. On Saturday our boys competed. This was their first big contest and did well when faced pitted against lifters that have been competing for many years.
Chris Brennan has been training with us since the beginning if last November. This light weight lifter (56kg) has natural talent and ended up lifting well and taking home the bronze metal.
Geoff Lawerence, a lifter in the 105kg category did not medal, but we are very proud with his performance adding 2kg's to his snatch personal record.
These young lifters have a big future ahead of them.
It was decided that the weightlifting team at Unparalleled will now be known as "Cave Weightliftng". The team thought the atmosphere of the gym reminded them of a cave. (no windows, little light).
